spyware, malware, adware cleaner

Hi guys,

my mum has asked me to have a look at her computer for her.. it is running very slowly and she is having pop up/ads all over the place.

literally every time that you click to go on to a new page something else pops up..

her homepage was hijacked by taplika but I have managed to get rid of that. I was just wondering which programs I can download to give the computer a good clean and stop this from happening

I use spybot which is free and I don't have any problems, I run this once a week alongside an anti -virus.
