Am in the market for a new TV shortly, just wondering what people think of these?

Seen them in the shops and was scratching my head as to why they were better, some of the flat UHD TV's seem awesome enough. Are they just a gimmick that will disappear or a genuine step forward and here to stay?

Unconvinced mate, seems like a fad like 3D TV which is shite imo (Ok these curved TV's don't seem shite, just no better than a flat TV). Just casting the net to see if there is a compelling reason to buy one that I'm missing out on.......

Haven't even looked at them, and the front room isn't my domain at home Grin

Surely there will be some reviews somewhere, if nobody here has bought one.
