I have never even thought of booking pool chairs.  What time do the pools get busy?  If I go out at 9 am I struggling for a seat say.  Am at wynn/encore this time if that makes a difference.

Was thinking of making more effort this year to get outside especially as a lot of the plo8 events start later.

In 20 odd visits I've never booked em either but the facility to do so is at the Rio as its my gf who will be going with me she's a sun worshipper so I've booked 2 so if anybody else s mrs is there and they wanna use mine welcome to do so if I'm not there
They are $12 a day or 28 for the dj pool party Thursday to Sunday
At the nugget they are pretty much all taken up by 945/10 am

I thought the tilted kilt was in the Rio ?? In lost vegas by Pauly ?? It's mentioned ??
We will be in a bar near the wsop I guess

Tilted Kilt in Rio closed it's doors years ago.  It changed to McFaddens or similar, and I think even that has closed since.

Some pool areas are pretty small, get super packed and reserving a chair makes sense.  Encore, particularly the quieter "European pool area with no kids, never had a problem getting a lounger.

Well we had a starting point...looks like we still need a venue(s)

Suggestions  ?

If you are just looking for a meet-up spot within the Rio, one or two drinks while everyone rolls up, the Hooker Bar is fine.

If you are actually looking for somewhere to go for an evening, I'd be looking outside of the Rio.

You'll want to move on Smiley

It's just a video poker bar open area on the casino floor.  So called (ldo) because most of the seats are taken by brasses pretending to play VP.  It's an easy place to chill for 30 mins, can pretend to play VP yourself and get a free beer too fwiw.  But once you have all met up, it isn't a place you are going to want to stay at.

Depending on what night it is, and how lazy your group is, here are some options, all pretty easy, nothing too high end or clubby.

1) Jump in a limo, go downtown, bar hop until you fall over.  Cheap, old Vegas, all close together.  Start in 777 Brew Pub in Main St station and then 1 beer in each along Fremont St until you piss yourselves.
2) Jump in a limo, Town Square, Blue Martinis, Yard House, couple of other bars too.  A chance to "mingle" with locals.
3) Head to new Linq area and check it out.  Not often I will say anything in favour of IP, but their bottle bar (TAG) is pretty decent for a proper drink, (i.e. you'll get kicked out if you ask for a Bud or a Coors Lite...)

You could ofc pick one of the numerous trendy bars, but ymmv on whether you can hear each other Smiley

Only a 10 K and 1500 plo in the Rio today so assuming not many playing in those Simons Rail should be a good meet up point today  👍

Could get noisy  ☺

Have you sorted the table for Afrojack at Omnia yet, then?

What's the plan?

Just seeing if there's still interest for an evening meet up.

Fraser, any plans? Time? Location? Agenda? Dress code?

The latter is clearly important. What one might wear to

will differ somewhat to what one might wear to

and, naturally to what one might wear to

Thanks in advance. Oh and tell tikay he's invited but must leave his bok boots at home.
