looking back idk if my JJ shove was bad now,
I have 125k @ 1k 2k were 60k effective.

villain has played reasonably solid until they 4b shoved 70bb effective UTG vs MP at 4/8 with AQo into random with KK.
Since then they have played a fair share of pots and gives a good go at winning all the ones they play multiway or HU
Seems to have a tendancy to give up/slow down on the river.

I min open JJ as a standard and villain defends BB

 Two Clubs two spades 9.6k

I cbet 4.2k and they c/r to 9.6k and I shove, Thoughts?

villain had T2o

100% would've loved taking that line ): as I've been told by everyone!

This is a mental leak of mine, been reviewing/getting told off with this hh with a few guys. I need to start thinking a lot more like a robot in online mtts. Tbh I was adamant in mind that villain will be calling off 7x and all pairs. When they raised me here I had a rush of thoughts about how they try to steal a lot and gain initiative and thought they may know I know this ect ect
When calling calling calling should we just tend to avoid 7x and Ax here George?

Lol. I feel like if we take this line we can be bluffing, people might be reluctant to fold 7x given the price but might do on a bad card ott or something and also it gives them a chance to just  spaz out on us. We're probably hoping not to fold anyway, i think clicking back gives a bit more rope than the standard call down.

I wouldn't think like a robot always but in these comps it really is the only way to play in these Dtd comps. Abc works as boring as it is.

Calling down would depend on his sizing. Sometimes villain will just be taking off. Sometimes he might even have 33-66. I actually don't mind clicking it back hoping he calls to get some value from smaller pairs.

Just flat villains raise. Keep their range as wide as possible. By shoving they fold all their bluffs and hands you beat and only call with hands that have you crushed. There are no draws on this flop also so villian has little equity if we have him beat so just call.

What bluffs do we think villain will have? Id say its safe to say villain will have none and just be raising 2x 7x and pairs? With a flop this dry any pair is presumably ahead of my opening range. I shouldn't fast play here, admittedly optimistic but I fancied my chances that villain could presume I'm fos and call. I thought they looked like they were playing restless and would take off at any moment if it looked like I was trying to run them over. I need to learn to not let myself jump to conclusions so fast.

Best part of it was my friend who was railing, has no clue about the game just said I think he's got a 2 as soon as the flop came out  Grin

He could bluff raise with 2 overs and/or back door flushes. He could be turning 7x into a bluff, I don't need to construct a bluff range to just call here. It's just about keeping his range as wide as possible.

Do we have any evidence/reads from previous hands that villian will raise 7x and pairs for value and then call off?

Seems like a ridiculous spot to  bluff, probably fold the flop, if not hopefully the turn.

Would you say it's standard here to go broke calling down on say a 9 3 run out?
