Hi, 3 of my friends and my brother are starting a new radio show on Tunein Radio via PeterboroughFM this coming Friday.

We've known each other since school (all in our mid30-early 40s) , all huge football fans, and a chance came along to do a radio show at a local volunteer radio station.  None of us have ever done anything like this, so will be a great experience if nothing else.  One of those, fk it why not kind of things.


If possible, can you spread the word @ItCouldKickOff, and we have a FB account too (I haven't seen it yet)

Ty. All Football, it is available to all, and though a community radio (funded lottery etc), it is not restricted or going to be about local events.

Basically the aim is to be ourselves, and have our football chats, banter, debates, arguements etc that we all have but now on radio - with an element of structure along the lines!!

We've known each other since school, all love football, so the banter will be "lively" we hope.

I was just thinking, you should actually physically have it "all kick off". That could be your unique selling point.
Every week you should have 2 of you have an actual physical fight in the studio. Over something stupid like whether Greg Rudeski was better than Tim Henman.
Guaranteed to go viral, 100 times more listeners next week. So maybe 500 listeners.

First show done!!

Went OK, well we thought so for a firsty.

More lively the more we got into it

2 shows in and all good fun. Show 2 was a bit too loud so need to sorts mics out but was a good show.

Twitter followers creeping up slowly, which we hope will increase listeners in the end.

We are "adopting" Alferton Town as our show club, and with communicated privately with the chairman!
