Given that a big % of DTD peeps frequent this place, figured this would be a good place to ask.

Next Sunday the missus and I are meeting the in-laws in the centre of Nottingham, looking for recommendations for somewhere for food. Looking most likely for a good quality pub lunch/Sunday lunch sort of place.

More an informal restaurant than pub, but this place is nice, right in the town centre about 100 metres from Alea casino.

I live just around the corner from the Victoria recommended above and that is decent and more traditional English grub.

Fat cat cafe bar in town is reasonable enough also.

Doubt you'll find a better Sunday dinner in Nottingham than at this place: http://worldservicerestaurant.com/

This place is decent enough too, more brasserie than pub but still fairly informal. It's round the corner from the grosvenor (old gala)

Good food, at a good price, nice beer selection to.
Opposite the Castle, 2 mins walk from the Market Square but doesn't feel like town.
