Really fun and nice table, 200nl live.

Hand 1

Late position with pocket   - £300 plus at

There's been a couple of limps, guy bumps it up to £10, about 3 calls, limpers call. 5/6 way to the flop.

Flop:   two hearts

Limper donks for £10, original raiser makes it £30, I made it £150. Donker folds, other guy calls. It is a really big raise ~ 150, a lot bigger than any raise i'd normally make, just felt he's never folding any K.

Turn was  , he Checks, we Check?? He only has approx. ~100 behind, we have him covered. River is a total brick. Think it was a 7 or something like that.

He Jams, we call.

Hand 2

We have pocket Aces OTB, there is about 4 limps, I make it £24, BB Calls, 2 of the original limpers Call.

Flop 842 r/b, 1st 2 players check, 3rd player (limped pre flop) donk bets ~ £90.

We think for 30 seconds and fold, as soon as she bet almost pot, I felt it was a fold.

It is a lady in her 40's,  a few hands before, she had donk bet pot when she had flopped the nut straight on something like 579. She jammed the turn for 1.5x pot on that occasion.

She had £400 at the start of the aces hand.

So we fold, BB calls, other guy folds.

Turn is 10, board is rainbow. BB Checks, she moves all in for £300 and has the BB covered. He tanks for about 5 plus minutes before folding.

Hand 1 seems wp, tho no need to raise so big with £300 stacks. £120 is cool, jam turn or river for £180 seems fine.

Hand 2 im never folding AA on 842r to a pot sized donk bet. Insticts usually right in poker tho, maybe you were right on this occasion. Hard for us to analysis a spot you've gone with your gut tho.

agree with all this though I definitely wouldn't have checked back as played. Just set him in for his last money.

not jamming turn in hand 1 is really bad imo. when he has ak/kq with no club and club rolls off otr we lose value. can't see any reason for not jamming the turn with this spr.

agree.

hand 2 is exploitative, you obviously feel she is bluffing never and playing worse for value never so you folded, fair enough.Obviously without such information it would seem unwise to fold AA in such a spot, speashly as I would think JJ very strongly possible, but if you have a read then yoou have a read and wp for having stones to follow it.

Thanks everyone, I agree should have just set the guy in OTT in hand one.

Hand 2, the BB folded Queens after his long tank.

The lady had flopped a set, which she showed when the other guy folded. Live cash is so much more fun than playing online and it's brilliant people feel the need to show their big hands!

If I hadn't seen the flopped straight hand, I don't think I can fold here OTF. Having seen that hand, it felt easy enough to fold the aces without to much thinking time.

It's really interesting the donk pot/ Jam turn line with the nuts, or comparative nuts.
