The obvious choice is the IPad 2 Air. I have one and I love it.

No worries my first thought was the iPad Air 2 but price on contract seems execessive compared to my current iPad and as I usaully only use it as a TV screen wasn't to happy with the £39 a month quotes

Was in the Same spot as you Iron, just upgraded for a iPad 2 air, it's fantastic.

You should be able to get £80-150 for your old one depending on its condition

For around £100 you won't do better than a HUDL2 from Tesco.

No it's not an iPad obv. But still decent and very good value for £.

Bit smaller, bit slower, has Android not iOS. Not everything as smooth running, can't do 3D gaming super well (it's ok) but is 1/4 price of an iPad.

For something a bit beefier which really does go toe to toe with the iPad on every level, Nexus 9 by Google available for around £2xx (depending on 16gb or 32gb)
