Doubt it would make any difference a point or three now just as valuable

Dickov was a very hard but fair player

Meh.

Spurs let teams amble through to score unopposed every week.

if it was spurs they would have just took the ball and put it in their own net

This all came from their goalie kicking the ball out for an "injury". The ref should be blowing the whistle now if play needs to stop? But teams still persist with kicking the ball out for throw ins if it suits. Weird but good on them.

Meh, I think every team in the league would have done that.

Excellent sportsmanship would have been David Edwards getting his handballed goal for Wolves disallowed by admitting it to the ref.

Agree with the second point, disagree with the first!

Cracking way to fix the goal mins spread markets without anyone batting an eyelid.  180 point swing and result integrity not compromised!

For clarity I am sure this wasn't the reason it happened.  Just looked like an honest mistake.

Did any bookies pay out on 0-0 or 1-0 as a goodwill gesture?

Pretty sure it's happened before, it is the accepted way of rectifying the error.

tbh it would be pretty foolish to do anything other than this given the opprobrium that would follow.
