I've not been able to put any time in to study the footage or to watch last week's show again. I can't recommend a bet today.

Not caught up myself.  Stuck to laying Jay and his price keeps getting shorter!  Put some horses up on the other thread, as can't be worse

For small stakes, for highest score of the night, I've had a one point interest bet on Kellie and two points on Anita, both of whom look impressive in their latest training. Kellie doing a very slow, traditional foxtrot and has a wonderful frame. Doubts over lack of training time a concern. Anita looks like she has a good number coming. Would not be surprised to see 30+ at all.

Expecting judges to be harsher tonight after last week's back-slap-athon.

A raucous crowd in Sevilla have gathered in the heat of a blistering sun. They are here to witness a hero slay a mighty beast. With a piercing fanfare, they stand to welcome the matador, caped, striding forward in leather boots, sending shuddering thuds across the arena with each step.

And there, before him, stands his foe. They will fight to the death, encircled by a baying cacophony of voices. They demand a victor.

And then some idiot presses play and we hear U flipping 2.

Kirsty isn't getting a fair deal, here.

All this.

Appalling song choice and not only did it fail to get her going, it masked the ability she has.

Whoever chose the song needs a new job.

Ha, agreeing with yourself Tal.  She was overmarked, needs to work on her masking of emotions when criticised.  Never goes down well.  Anita looked undermanned.  Don't know what was going on with the for Georgia.  She looked very good to me.  Thought we had a rival to Jay the Pro Dancer.

Good idea to dress Jeremy as the set, so you couldn't see his feet move.

Georgia was quite skippy in the chassés (side-close-side) and was a bit behind the music at times. Her frame wasn't particularly good either.

I misread Anita. Fairly marked for me. Gleb was clever in that he didn't put much bounce in his own part of the dance, meaning he didn't show her lack of bounce up. That's a really important skill of the best pros.

On which note, proper foxtrot from Kevin and Kellie.

From Tony McCoy to Choc Thornton.

Awful. Should be getting fives.

No idea what Aliona has been teaching him this week. He may have been overcome by his own expectation.

Two sevens is a disgrace.

He is obviously better than that dance. Looking at him now, he had the weight of the world on his shoulders. He'll get 36 next week and this will all be forgotten.

Kirsty's time in Strictly coming to an end.

Don't suppose Peter is on first next week?
