Perfectly possible, Tighty. The public tend to know when it's someone's time to go. Katie can't win this competition now for me.
There's very little between the top six: Jay, Peter, Anita, Kellie, Georgia and Helen. Peter and Jay have hit their ceiling, IMO. The others could really leave them behind.

Skybet knew though. Looks an excellent price, but Jay wins the polls every week. Even when he messed up completely he still topped the poll. It is like the comp is going on in a parallel universe where people see a different Jay.

I suppose one way to stop criticism that the singers on the show murder the songs is to get them to do a Cilla Black song.

Mr Waite making an awful lot of sense tonight. Agree with everything he said about the training footage.

Is 8/15 value for Jeremy lowest scorer? Only Jamelia can get close and she'll find 24 in a latin dance, so long as she remembers the steps.
9/1 Kellie for a judges' bounce after the dance off and finish top? 10% chance may be ok. Concern would be whether Len has any idea what is going on. Don't suppose Kevin could choreograph a basic dance to show off his dancer's skills? No way I'm backing Georgia at 5/6.
Peter looks poor. Katie looks fantastic and has the dress of the night, but Craig will hate an old fashioned, traditional rumba, without the aggressive and accentuated light and shade of the modern version. Very surprised to see beyond a 7. Could really spilt the judges and get 7-8-9-7.
Not sure I like Helen's legs in the tango training footage. She's kissing the floor rather than driving into it. All a bit too delicate. Jay solid but unspectacular again.
Interesting night ahead. No forties tomorrow.

magazine Bruno has been told to be nastier and the producers have wrested back the decisions over song choices, as expected.

For a bit of fun, a demonstration of samba, paso doble, rumba and jive in 1979 by the godfather of latin dancing, Alan Fletcher OBE:
Then, by the mid-80s, Dornie Burns MBE and his partner, Gaynor Fairweather, changed everything:
Much more pronounced hip rotation. And more sensual in tone. It made Fletcher's prim and proper version look prehistoric, despite being just a few years later.
Amazing how times change.

a strange week with odd song choices, laughable wardrobe and the entertaining jeremy flung to the sidelines
did anyone see Tristam's look to the skies and grimace when he survived the dance off? hilarious. I suspect Ms Jamelia is quite hard work

After reading Tal's gossip I thought it was noticeable how Craig twice went out of his way to criticise the song choices. Kevin in his Fresh Prince garb was the most unbearable I can remember one of the pro dancers being.

He'll only have a week left - Jamelia is 1/6 to go this week.
Despite my live bets on this I'm still mostly just anti-railing Jay and Peter.
