Was also the voice of the Gecko on the Geiko ads in the States for ten or more years.
Just lost the gig, and not very happy about it by all accounts.
Ha, welcome back Many Clouds Man.
GEICO, the USA Insurance company, do you mean? If so, owned by none other than Berkshire Hathaway, aka Warren Buffett. Built his businesses around the so-called "float" from GEICO.
If we are not at cross purposes here, that's exactly the sort of titbit I was looking for.
Thought it might be.

From voiceovering geckos to a guest appearance on skypoker. How the mighty have fallen.

Is that what they said?
Wow.
Should give tikay something to discuss tomorrow, considering Jake Wood was voted off in a controversial dance off in favour of Mark Wright in last year's semi final.

I feel very hurt that you two didn't believe me when I mentioned this on Sunday.

Neither did I. I was aiming to get home just to see if it got mentioned but got stuck at work. Darcey was on breakfast this morning and there wasn't a mention.

There you go Tal, very good exit interview, loved Tristan's face when she said it.

Incred.
Didn't disbelieve you either but Tristan's face when she does the double inverted commas is something else.

Slight derail here, but I'm hoping some of you SCD sorts can give me some titbits of info on a SVCD contestant from 2014 by the name of Jake Wood.
I shall be spending the evening with him in a TV Studio tomorrow (hardly a chirp, as I've never heard of him) though I'm told he is a soap star or somesuch.
Any stuff that I can use to show I know my Soap Stars & SCD-ers would be appreciated.
Thank you.
I believe he appears in this clip.
I should probably ask some questions. Will add some filler so you can look like a well researched man.
1. Jake topped the leaderboard three times last year (Salsa, Jive and Samba). Were any of those his favourite dances to perform or did he enjoy learning ballroom more? (I loved his Samba to the Macarena)
2. Janette is now dancing with Peter Andre. What was her method of teaching like? Did she start with the basics of footwork and posture or did you go straight to learning the choreography?
3. A lot is said (it is tikay, trust me on this) about the music choices for the dances. You had to do an Argentine Tango to Zorba the Greek. How did that happen and what happened behind the scenes? Did anyone protest about the music they had to dance to?
That should get you a few minutes of filler. Thanks.

Should probably also try to drum up some support for his colleague Kellie Bright...given I've backed her
