very poor standard of first dances for a semi-final dont you think?
not a patch on the ramprakash or halfpenny eras
why is that? under-rehearsed (not enough time)? poor technique? poor choreography?

It probably is under-rehearsing (Georgia is also quite clearly ill).
That dance from Kellie will win the dance off if she's in it as she'll eliminate that mistake.

Boooooooo to Craig.
Also, her boyfriend in the audience looks a right possessive jealous sort. Pretty funny him having to sit there whilst Bruno praises the romantic love story and how great a couple GG make.

the worst piece of music chosen for a salsa in the history of this programme
no salsa at all in the routine as a result!

Absolute Colin Jackson moment. Barmy song and dance choice.

Too late to post on TfT, but I fancy:
1. Georgia to top the leaderboard with her Viennese Waltz (her frame is the best I have seen)
2. Kellie to score highly in her American Smooth (at least one ten)
3. Anita to struggle with two dances and does solidly but unspectacularly
4. Katie and Anita in the dance off.
5. Anita goes because Katie goes ballroom and does better.
Should have had the Canadian
I didn't know Georgia had been ill. Bit frustrating as I would have backed Kellie to top the leaderboard, but couldn't see Georgia getting under 76 from the training footage.
I'd love to think Kellie could win this competition. Kevin's choreography in both dances was utterly phenomenal. So perfectly pitched: the rumba tender and technical; the AS was straight out of a Fred and Ginger movie with its little side by sides and cheeky moments.
But I've spent enough time banging that particular drum ITT. We all know where the glitter ball is going.
Seriously? Drops Aliona and gets a ten.

First time we haven't had a perfect 40 before the final since series 4, Igather
worth remembering because there has been a controversy brewing over anita's non-salsa, they were given a choreographer to help this week, but he was a charleston/swing expert...not the salsa expert last used for blackpool week
i still can't get over how feel this moment was chosen as a salsa song.

Barmy.
I will say they have historically always had other coaches in for anything outside the normal 10 dances. Plus, the pros help each other (Anton helped Gleb with his quickstep earlier this year, for example).
Jay's jive would have been 40 had it not been week 3 (see the Ramprakash Argentine Tango to Goldeneye).

He didn't drop her, he threw her to the floor. Think it must have been 10 for Ippon.
