Might as well give it a go. I have about as much chance of getting young as I do of getting thin or strong so I've been on the lookout for 'Get Younger' tips.

I will post those I like on here. Please join me.

Act like a kid

"Getting back into an activity you loved as a child will give you that feeling of being a kid again," says Gabrielle Bernstein, author of Add More -Ing to Your Life: A Hip Guide to Happiness. "Even jumping on your bike for an afternoon ride with friends will make you feel more carefree."

Step Outside Your Comfort Zone.

Take risks.

Explore.

Travel to distant lands.

Learn about other cultures.

Try something new.

My advice to the non-adventurous spirit is to start small. Add a jalapeño pepper to the scrambled eggs tomorrow morning. Find a new route to the office or the grocery store. If you’re lucky, you’ll get lost. Ask the bartender to make you a surprise drink and actually drink it. Wear patterns with stripes. Write down all your fears and pick one or two to confront.

When we step into the unknown it can be scary but when we do so consciously and willingly, it can be incredibly liberating.

I already feel young, don't particularly know why other than when I look back at when my father was my age he seemed far more level headed and adult like. Come to think of it when I think back to my family they all seem far more adulty than me Smiley

I wonder if my kids think the same about me?

Haha. Brilliant!

It worked for Joan Collins for years.

Once someone asked Jackie Collins how old she was and she replied 'I'm 3 years younger than however old Joan is claiming she is'

I think this too.  When I look back how adults were in general when I was a kid, I don't see myself as anything like that.

I bet they thought that too though.

Question to anyone reading.

If you were having a friendly chat with someone at the poker table and they asked your age, would you think it a rude question?

If yes, why?

If no, why not?

No. I had a bloody hard paper round and quietly enjoy the usual reaction.

No - but I am fascinated with how old people think I am, as people seldom get it right.

Also I would never ask a lady as my Mum taught me it was rude - old skool values.

It quietly amuses me that youngsters like to pretend they are older than they are, & old folks try to make out the very opposite.

No.

I like the fact that they are curious.

I like that they want to interact.

I like an excuse to talk about old bloke things.
