Know of any good deals going?
Mobile phone contracts, Sky TV or B+T Sport subs, BOGOF offers, cheap flights, Air Miles offers, Supermarket Club Cards, car insurance, savings schemes (Lil Dave only), payday loans etc.
If you see or hear of any offers, post away please.

Talking of Camel's Mate, he's got a cheap Sky broadband offer, just £5 for the year including line rental!

That's exactly the sort of thing I had in mind.
Camel is on the 'phone to Martin as we speak.

In a thread about saving money that specifically states "who needs Martin Lewis" the man has already been referenced in 4 out of 7 posts (not including this one).
I love the idea of this thread but I suspect most of the posts will just be links to mse.
I know many people don't like Mr Lewis but his website is amazing.

Agree, & it's totally fine to link & reference him. Including him in the title just raises awareness. And a few hackles.
Here's an unraised hackle.
PS - I don't actually get all the Martin loathing, but I know it exists.

I have this. It's a Royal Crown Derby Old Imari Japan soup tureen, cover and stand.
This is a picture with Mrs Red holding it to give an idea of scale.
Here are the official details.
http://www.royalcrownderby.co.uk/old-imari-japan-soup-tureen-cover-and-stand.html
This is what I'm proposing.
I will sell a total of 49 virtual lottery tickets at a cost of £30 per ticket.
I will keep a tally of which numbers are sold and to whom on a separate thread.
When all the tickets are sold, the number of the bonus ball from the following week's National Lottery draw will be the winning ticket number.
From the proceeds, I will donate £200 to a charity of the winner's choice.
I will deliver the piece to the winner.

Where did you get it from Tom? Passed down through the family? It is an amazing piece.

I bought it as an investment almost 40 years ago from Sinclairs in Bawtry Arby. We've always loved it but the truth is, it's a bit big for a caravan.

It's a great idea horsey, and the draw will be really exciting.
Someone is going to reserve a number any minute now...

I'll have a ticket if you'd deliver to my parents in Newcastle?
