Having been to a number of weddings where there is always no shows, where the reasons for some people not turning up is essentially they couldn't be arsed. I think is really off and you are either doing people out of money, or preventing someone who might have enjoyed going attending.

Obviously there is always unforeseen circumstances, in some cases but some people really take the mick in these spots. If you don't fancy it, turn down the invitation.
