No beer since my 21st  birthday.

Maybe 6 glasses of wine in the last 47 years, mainly for the sake of politeness in company. I pretend to like it, but I'd rather have a glass of Tizer.

I can't think of any food that I have tried that I wouldn't eat again. Tea/coffe i drink both and probably far too much of both. Alcohol is Beer and Morgans spice, occassional whisky or port (I love port) cannot be doing with all the shot stuff and wkd/bacardi breezer stuff. We have regular team nights out and they are all tequila (in Scotland?) jaegerbombs etc. Not for me I'm afraid.

I have a little vice I must confess......................I do quite a bit of cooking at home, currys/stews/stir frys especially. I use balsamic and different flavoured vinegars and worcester sauce almost on a daily basis. When i do, I MUST take a quick swig before returning the bottle to the pantry.

I can't think of anything I don't like except stuff that's not really food like oysters or snails.

I have always found snails with garlic butter delicious, frog's legs too.

I used to adore oysters until I had a dodgy one at an extremely expensive retaurant in London a few years ago and spent the entire night alternately throwing up and vacating my bowels in the most violent manner imaginable.

I've not had the inclination to try them again since.

Skol/Carlsberg/Tuborg/Fosters/Carling, anything that describes itself as Lager but is served from a pressurised keg or can.
Any beer that proclaims itself to be a 'smooth bitter', or that makes a selling point out of needing to be served extra cold.

I've tried these, but would rather drink post-mix Coke than any of them.

Can you expand on this please?  I'm not much of a larger connoisseur but do like coors, estrella & Heineken.  Are these from pressurised kegs?  how do you tell!

I tell by taste, and by the headache that comes from taking in too much gas with my beer.
There are some craft or micro breweries that produce lagers but none of your likes are amongst them.
it's a matter of taste and choice so if you enjoy what you drink, who am I to say you shouldn't?

Shocked at how many people are saying eggs! I have 4 for breakfast sometimes!

I didn't eat eggs 'till I was 21 then was convinced to try eggs benedict and have never looked back, so good! Fried egg and bacon sandwich too, as long as the yolk is runny

I have never had a Guinness, quite happily sat in Temple Bar Dublin with a fruit cider. It just looks horrific to me!

I eat and have ate basically everything although for some reason Spreading Cheese makes me nautilus, I am sure i had it as a child but now it gives me the fear.

Def agree with this. I was told that it tastes much nicer in Dublin so I did have another go there but its exactly the same.

I see, so generally mass produced lager will be from pressurised kegs, I assumed all lager is like that.  I do like real ale but i would call that bitter?  Leeds Pale is readily available in leeds... obv... and is one of my favourites, but also like trying whatever is on in a few pubs near work.

Haven't had Leeds Pale but from what I read I am pretty sure I'd enjoy it
