best Quiz show hosts/quiz show combinations in your view are?
Stephen Fry and QI must be right up there, but who else fits their show so perfectly that it would be odd without them?

Not so much the host, but as an ensemble, this was a very much underrated show:  Mostly because of how incredibly cruel they were to each other. |
