DTD/party are planning the next one,

I’d like to get as much feedback as possible good, bad, constructive, destructive, it doesn’t matter on the last one. All aspects of it.

This will help Gary Oakes make it even better

what did you like? what would you change? if you didn't play why not?

over to you

Good points -

1. Structure of live final
2. Value in online games
3. Prizes for individuals and teams to maintain interest.
4. Venue for final.
5. Added promotions for tickets.
6. Games starting at 7 and finishing before midnight good for workers.

Bad points

1. Changing the rules in running. You changed the buy in, the start time, the levels, the guarantees and from a rebuy to a freezeout.
2. The overnight leaderboard showed players and stacks but not team name. Aliases on the leaderboard would have helped.
3. 7 nights a week is too much better with 3 maximum.
4. Better menu and more variety for food. Burgers and hot dogs for 2 days is not great.

Didn't end up playing the live event, although gathered some chips through the promotion. From what I saw though and what my team mates would have prefered would be a one day event.

Agree with the above about keeping things consistant.

Fantastic promotion overall and I'm sure people enjoyed it - got us playing on Party which we wouldn't have done if the event wasn't running

Would be better if rewards were paid for on line finishes and there not to be such vast chip stack differences going into the final. Also split the final prize pool 50/50 between individuals and teams. I  saw someone mention paying £20 (or similair) a head in a more level playing field final to increase the pool would work.

Also think the qualification level was too low, both for individuals (30K) and the team as a whole. A smaller final field for a one day event would work better imo, although  I appreicate that DTD will want to fill the venue.
