Door Insulation Query
«

Good people of Blonde, I'm losing loads of heat in my house through the laundry room via the door to the garage, any ideas of what I could use to insulate the door? I've already got draft excluders but I think the heat/cold is going through the actual door.
TIA

Hang a thick, full length curtain over it. It's easy, practical and it will work wonders.

Cheers Tom, not really keen on that as I wanted to cover the door on the garage side by having something just the size of the door wit no overhang. I was thinking of putting some foil backed bubble wrap on the back of it but then I read this article;

Not so sure about it now though. Might just staple some kitchen foil and an old quilt to it.

I would imagine this stuff would be your best bet. Really good insulation values and it's easy to cut to size

Turn the radiator in the laundry room off and keep that door closed.

This is probably your best bet, just stick it to the back of the door.
