Just to let people know that I don't have time to contribute on this thread even though I am an expert and have strong opinions. Cheers.
A little more empathy please - I myself woke up at 10.20am yesterday and finding time compressed, had to skip the leisurely cooked breakfast I normally make so I could get to the pub for 1pm - over 1 hr 20 mins away
One of the upsides of being a raspberry... I don't have to make my own breakfast anymore
Regardless, I definitely don't skip any breakfasts.
Out for breakfast or do you sit at the table at home demanding someone brings you something :-)

Can't blame you for only wanting to deal with one american cowboy at a time.
Think Brad must have got a well deserved promotion. As well deserved as The Donald anyway.

I sometimes don't even have time for breakfast, which often makes me grumpy until lunch.

Has to be in, because it would be lunchtime before I got anywhere near somewhere for breakfast after leaving home

Thing to watch: Trump has a very real problem with white college-educated voters. Biggest deficit between his vote and current approval

"Why this matters: if white college-educated voters abandon the GOP next year over their dislike of Trump, party will face a midterm wave."

Why does he give a shit about any group of voters when there isn't another election for three and a half years?
I never understand why they need to keep polling everyone so soon after the election. Can the result of opinion make the slightest bit of difference?
This is a serious question by the way, I'm not just trying to stir. I'm genuinely interested in the answer but I don't want to irritate you if you're busy eating breakfast.

its ok, whilst i am irritated i will put down my bacon sandwich long enough to attempt to answer
focus is already switching to the mid terms, probably more important than normal considering the tensions between President, congress and judiciary already. Polling, and politicis, is never static after all
If Democrats want to reclaim power in 2020 they’ll also need to win back Congress a feat that, in turn, requires them to rectify the Republican gerrymandering that has effectively shut them out of the House of Representatives.
Because they invested millions of dollars in crucial state elections during the 2010 midterms, the Republican Party was able to gerrymander congressional districts so that the GOP could control the House.
So if the group with which Trump is performing especially poorly already don't turn out for the GOP in the mid terms and the grip on the house weakens, it makes Trump's intended legislature trickier to enact

That's enough politics for me for this year. I'm going back to my happy place.

Sorry Tighty, but is there another group of white voters? White non college is -7%; white college is -10%, but whites overall are only down 4%. Not sure that can work without another group such as white absolute knuckle draggers, where the support is holding up.
More on the gerrymandering please.
I hear it a lot here, but other than Wandsworth, there isn't a lot of substance behind the accusations. I have obviously not been paying as close attention to the US.

Did the reddit links help Red?
I like the links Tighty fwiw.
I can see where the controversy is coming from I guess. Seems a bit like Coke running a polarizing ad which doesn't seem very wise to me. This is from the beer that renamed itself "America"
http://time.com/4324384/budweiser-america-rename-beer/
84 Lumber went an even more controversial route, initially turned down by Fox for the full wall advert. Here is a full version below. Highlight @ 4:17 with a home made american flag.

Hasn't gone mental on Twitter yet, so I doubt he's seen it.
