Not surprised- £200 buy in seems like the perfect price point.

3 day £200 events? Really? Assume they are still 3 day events like the £400s. Who on earth can make them pay? Better off doing a shift at McDonalds for an hourly.

I think they're two days (could be wrong) Choice of day 1a or b and then day 2
Recs don't give a shit about hourly. Just want the sweat hence why there's always an 8 way chop with a saver from 9-16th

ok fair enough. Just copying Grosv then and their 25/25 tour. Must be losing business to it.

I lost a lot of respect for Genting when they bought the Fox and turned it into a casino. Then they screwed over more of their loyal players when their deal with the Hendon mob ended by trying to steal all accrued rakeback!
Although I sometimes tune into their live broadcasts, I don't bother trying to qualify for any of their events as their internet satellite offerings became woeful and I would rather put my limited playing time in DTD's direction.

I think a big part of their problem is having so many stops in cities that people just don't really want to travel to. Surprised there's no £440 in Newcastle

Is this good news for the DTD monthly Deepstack as now there will be less clashes for the £300-500 price range or are Genting ahead of the curve?

Not very much in this for people who live in the North.
It's a massive middle finger for us.

losing focus on poker, introducing casino games, reducing spread of games and not honouring rake back promises. Has amaya bought them out?

There's Sheffield x2 inc the final, Liverpool, Newcastle as well as two in Scotland. Genting doesn't have a casino in Leeds as far as I know. So the only one really missed out is Manchester. Where else would you like a leg? Not a fan of the company but this is a good tour and the people who run it are poker people. I don't see why you say it is RIP. Seems pretty similar to last year but with a few buyins dropped down, which matches a trend around the UK for buyins for tours dropping to attract more casual players and be better for the poker economy. Not very much in this for people who live in the North.
