Nice looking book that Marky
On Nichols Canyon each way in the Champion a few times already.
6 times Grade one winner always questioned because he is not flashy but not seen relish jumping hurdles like him for a while, thought Mullins comparing him to Hurricane Fly after last time was apt (both top class flat horses, both look like selling platers in the paddock and both work poorly at home).
See no reason why he wont head the fav after the second last and just hold on.
Suspect in the build up there will be a lot of talk of how poorly he is working which may push the price out again.

Been quite lucky thus far, but as you know, it can all fall apart with 2 months still to go.
Was gutted about Maputo, as I think he looked a seriously good animal, and might have given Ferguson a winner in his final year.
I can't understand why some were so negative, but good for the punters.
You'd think that Nichols Canyon was race fit when he beat Faugheen, and not that it was his first race, too.
Should be a superb race anyway, and I'd imagine a Mullins 1-2-3 again, if Arctic Fire runs, too.

I am sure at the least Nichols can get faugheen to have to dig deep the effect of which saw him hang badly (still looked to hang a touch last time even though won easily).
Should be a good race regardless. Agreed saw paddy quote someone on twitter
for a Irish 1 2 3 not the worst price ever that

Yeah, looks a place lock, and just hoping to nick the win part.
Padraig actually let me get more than £5 on Curtis, so might reinvest the winnings on that 5/1 if it's still going.

Yeah, looked very good again there.
Beat nothing, but a nice sweat heading to the Supreme.
Watch Altior piss all over him on the day

Min really impressed me.
Jumped very well and appeared to have plenty in the tank.

These prices are always too big because a) no one backs them and b) you never go skint laying a short one. Even though most pros never go skint backing short ones.

Been meaning to subscribe for a while.
Not got the usual portfolio but quite like what I have got.
Smad Place tipped up by Kealey in Weekender this week for Ryanair, so that ticket feels very nice now, and I don't feel so stupid. I guess he reads TFT.
Hills were 16s about 3 weeks ago for Mullins to win the 3 novice hurdles, and whilst I don't particularly fancy the main protaganists from his yard in the Novice events, it looks good now, across a few accounts.
I'm on Buveur Dair in the Supreme at the price it is now, but Min has been impressive in shit ground.
In trying to find one against Douvan, I thought L'ami Serge was impressive at Plumpton and offers ew value especially if he jumps as well again tomorrow.
A friend suggested I back Thistlecrack for the World H at 25s, but only had pennies on. Gutted.
I have some
on More of That for the RSA, but bottled backing it at 14s.
Glad I got brave went Faugheen went 2-1 after getting beat. Just cant see him getting beat, but Arctic Fire looks and ew bet to nothing.
I've sided with Don Poli for the GC, but with no conviction.
I really like one in the Fred Winter I think may be plotted up, but its Irish and isn't in the lists yet, so let you know when it is!!
All good so far, but who knows. For once I am managing not to back too much daily stuff this month and hopefully can keep my powder dry in Feb too, and just keep adding to the ante post book with the savings!!

My Ryanair picks are done, with AS out for the year, and who knows where VVM is going to end up.
Love Smad Place, so will cheer him home for you
As long as Mullins wins the 4 opening day races this year, I'll be happy, and freerolling my holiday, too.
Hope L'Ami Serge is, but Douvan looks an absolute monster.
Same as you, but at 8/1, and I had nothing on, lol.
Got MOT covered, but NMH looked the better of the 2 thus far, and just hope we get a run.
I just got on DP with Bald, straight after the RSA last year, and we'll get a run, at least.
I'm saving my pennies for Corona & Paella, so it's very quiet here, too
