Definitely no stand out team for sure, I think they all have the World Cup blues.

Can vote for the player of the tournament, who is your choice?

I would say either Billy V or Stuart Hogg, voted for the former because I'm a biased supporter  Smiley

Gareth Davies (Wales)   Guilhem Guirado (France)   Stuart Hogg (Scotland)   Jonathan Joseph (England)   Conor Murray (Ireland)   George North (Wales)   Jack Nowell (England)    Sergio Parisse (Italy)   Jonathan Sexton (Ireland)   Duncan Taylor (Scotland)   Virimi Vakatawa (France)   Billy Vunipola (England)

the list doesnt even include George Kruis

the english line out was brilliant all championship, especially in Paris with all those steals

how he doesn't make the final 12 i do not know, same for itoje

jamie roberts isn't on the list either, had a sensational tournament

from the list alone vunipola/hogg are the choices but the list is very flawed

C J Stander for me. Would be tough to choose between him and Sean OBrien when he is fit.

stuart barnes posted this this morning

The Lions team if the first Test was tomorrow (purely picked on form): 15 Stuart Hogg, 14 Anthony Watson, 13 Duncan Taylor, 12 Jamie Roberts, 11 George North, 10 Johnny Sexton, 9 Rhys Webb; 1 Rob Evans, 2 Dylan Hartley, 3 WP Nel, 4 Maro Itoje, 5 George Kruis, 6 John Barclay, 7 Sam Warburton, 8 Taulupe Faletau (Billy Vunipola would have a major role coming off the bench).

interesting!

I thought Warburtton was poor throughout the tournament. I think you are right about the English lineout winning the match v France for them. If Eddie Jones  was such a smart coach why did henot substitute Nowell after 10 minutes when it was obvious he was incapable of tackling Nakatawi.

Looks like they have just picked 2 from each country and 3 from England (maybe because they won?) rather than just picking the best players irrespective of country.
