Spinnup is alive, 145700 up from 50k starting at first break.
Won a couple of small one's since.
Going to call myself out for acting poorly after winning a huge pot earlier.
There's personal history with the villain/ victim, who is known to blonde but I don't think it matters who it is.
Hand
We have just over starting and in the sb with 66
Raise from UTG to 2k, call from player 1, call from player 2 otb, I call from sb, bb (victim) calls.
Flop
I check, bb checks, UTG checks, player 1 bets 4k, btn calls 4k, I call 4k, bb calls and UTG folds.
Turn
I check, bb check, player 1 checks, btn tanks then puts his chips all in for around 80% pot.
I take a few seconds then slide my chips in saying nothing.
Bb instantly huff's and puff''s, saying "not this hand... I can't believe I've got this hand...". Takes maybe 20-30 seconds to make a decision then flings the chips in.
Player 1 snap folds in the face of 3 all ins.
Btn has A10o for an obviously tough decision with just top pair
My 2nd set looking decent considering the actions and words of bb
Bb has
- for current nuts, flush redraw and an in my opinion very dirty slow roll considering this player plays a lot, knows me and considering they are aware of poker etiquette I felt that this was a situation where you can pretend to justify it by saying "there's a player behind.." but considering that player has already checked this turn card, I can't imagine they have a hand they can play vs 3 all ins, ever.....
Anyways... River is
and I launch into a very ungentlemanly like statement about how it's poker justice and that they deserved it. For a good couple of minutes.
This is something that I have only ever done a couple of times in poker and I think once is too many.
It was absolutely the heat of battle + late reg drive up here + slowroll + personal issues with this person that caused it.
The table had mixed feelings about the hand as some agreed the behaviour of the player was shocking, and others said that mine is not a justifiable retort.
There were even comments of "I've played with you before a few times and you've always been a perfect gent."
I quickly apologised to the table and continued on with my day. So far, continued to build and going to forgive myself, forget about it, move on and make sure it doesn't happen again any time soon.
