Arsenal cannot do it unless Arsene Wenger leaves. Manchester United have done it more than any other British club. Everton, Charlton and Oldham have done it, but Wimbledon will never do it unless Crystal Palace go bankrupt. Manchester United did it in 1992. Aston Villa did it at their first attempt. Tottenham, Wolves, Leeds, Newcastle, Manchester City and West Ham have all done it. Liverpool did it in an unusual way. No one did it last season. No one is expected to do it this season. What is it?

good luck

Blimey, Tighty - you've blown the cobwebs off that old chestnut. Wimbledon??

Anyway, you've got two separate questions mixed up.

"Arsenal cannot do it unless Arsene Wenger leaves. Manchester United have done it more than any other British club. Everton, Charlton and Oldham have done it, but Wimbledon will never do it unless Crystal Palace go bankrupt. Liverpool did it in an unusual way"

and

"Manchester United did it in 1992. Aston Villa did it at their first attempt. Tottenham, Wolves, Leeds, Newcastle, Manchester City and West Ham have all done it. No one did it last season. No one is expected to do it this season."

Think back to 2002 (when this thing first cropped up). I won't post the answers yet.

yep old ones - from memory the 1st one is to do with rugby league games

the second one presumably if liv did it in 2002 relates to winning 3 trophies in a season - liv did the Champ League rather than the league.

Not sure about 2nd one but def sure about the first one

I've googled it and gotten the answers but I'm confused about the 2nd one.

You sure the Liverpool bit aint meant to be part of the 2nd riddle?

forget about football quizzes - a much better guessing game would be......

"which blondite would TightEnd take on holiday with him?"

my first yes/no question is: would quarentine rules affect this blondite?
