Welcome back Tighty and his amazing updates. I haven't visited DtD for a long time. I just kinda realised one of the reasons why I don't visit. These updates always used to get my juices flowing and in turn I used to travel the 60 odd miles about once a month to play there. These updates should be a permanent once a month thing.

There are 23 left in the high roller

On a perambulation of the four remaining tables I saw Alex Goulder eliminated by the wonderfully named Gang Wang, A-2 against Kings all in pre when short. A superfluous King on the flop for good measure

Antoine Saout Eliminated by Richard Gryko. Gryko raised Jacks UTG and a short-stacked Saout shoved fives in the big blind, called and no hlep

Brammer appears to have lost chips, possibly to Keith Johnson who has chipped up substantially before Jack O'Neill limped the small blind playing 70,000 at 2,000-4,000

Brammer set him in from the big blind, instant called by 7-7

Brammer flipped 2-2

Sevens held on a paint heavy board and Brammer's stack is now back in the pack

Oliver Price opens to 22,000 playing 322,000

Chris Brammer makes it 77,000 playing 250,000

Price shoves

this is UTG and UTG+1

Brammer calls all in with 10-10

Price has Aces, knocks Brammer out and goes chip leader with 600,000

--

Nick Hicks opens and Enzo Del Piero flats in position

Hicks bet bet bet all three streets on 6-A-3-10-7 board, two spades on the turn

Del Piero shoves the river for 150,000 more into a 500,000 pot

Hicks peers at the board, stares at Ezo and after a few minutes contemplation of the futility of a poker player's existence in such spots folds

Del Piero shows A-10

Hicks tells him he had A-K of spades

Del Piero now chip leader

so approaching the final table and short-handed Oliver Price was in a nice spot

three shorter stacks on his left and looking to apply pressure

He shoves in the cut off, 9-10 suited covering everyone still to act

On the button Rchard Gryko finds Ace-Kng suited and calls all in

Price spikes an undercard to go to 900,000 and take us to 10 left and the final table bubble

here is oliver, wsop and EPT (3rd in deauville a couple of years back), WPT finalist, GUKPT winner etc

So you are stealing 5 handed on the final table bubble with Q-5

That's what Jack O'Neill, 24yo from Nottingham was doing

Keith Johnson called him in the big blind

flop 5-5-5

Yes.

check check. what else is he going to do?

turn Ace

Yes, it got better for Jack

Two stacks go in, Keith has A-x, i didnt see the x in the hubbub,  and is knocked out 10th

Jack goes to the final as a 1.2m chip leader

Been watching the early stage of the final

David Lloyd doubled through Price aipf 5-5 v 10-10, 5 on the turn

Nick Hicks chopped an aipf against ONeill A-K v A-K

Then Wllams shoved J-J over a Del Piero raise, he caled with A-J

Ace first card out and we are down to 8

This is likely to go on til 4-5am

Im old and its not the main event so we will go til the main finishes then pop the result up in the morning unless by some miracle it looks like ending imminently

with 8 left the average is 40x bb

Totally agree. I used to look forward to the monthly updates as it helped me keep upto date on how some of my friends were doing as I only get to see them on my rare visits to the uk .
Also they definately increased the traffic to the site and it appears to DTD too by the comments .

Thanks Rich for doing the updates very much appreciated and hopefully they will return in the not too distant future .
