as the image says, if you are in the club this week at 8pm on partypoker freeroll (password protected, password from the TDs) for WPT 109 and 530 seats

Mean people are covering their screens cos they're surrounded by people on same table?

This, absolutely this.

The increasing encouragement for people to play online at the same time as live has so many negatives attached.

Slows the live game
Creates potential for 'more than one player to a hand'
Creates potential for outright collusion

My appetite for satellites is reduced in proportion to the amount of encouragement given to live players to partake. I doubt I'm alone in that.

getting people (who maybe new to poker and/or live poker players only) to open and play on online accounts with have a lifetime value of x to DTD/party, i assume

not rocket science.

last night's first freeroll saw 57 players participate and "Village fool" won a WPT530 seat, four others won WPT109 seats and i gather it made for quite a fun atmosphere around the live tournament

same again tonight, with a different password, only for people in the club
