Nearng the bubble

Paul Coughlan raises with A-Q and gets two callers, including Chris Gillespie in the blinds

the flop comes 10-4-5 rainbow

its checked round

Ace on the turn

Gllespie leads for 45,000

Coughlan the only caller

4 river

Gillespie now sets Coughlan in

and Coughlan calls, losing to turned two pair

nearing the bubble part 2

local player george is down to his last 21,000 at 3-6k having already recovered from 4k winning one all in

he shoves, as he has to do before the blinds reach him

tim blake calls n the button

alex goulder is in the big blind playing 60,000ish and looks as if this might be his spot but he eventually decides against it

George A-5o

Blake Q-6hh

it comes Q-3-K-K-10 for Blake to knock out another

Bursting a bubble?

I have been poised around the six tables waiting for the bubble to burst. A level into hand to hand so far, and it hasn’t and the players are off on a break

Lots of shortstacks, and the only one who has got it in so far has been skalie who shoved over a Chris Gllespie raise

call

skalie A-Q

Gillespie Q-Q

An Ace on the flop was met by rapturous applause by all the players (maybe). As the Ace held skalie did an involutary jib sticking two pairs of two fingers up at the other players with a broad smile on his face

Andrei goes through the blinds first

come on Andrei

the 54 left are listed on here

Pop

Andrei Frujina puts his last 30,000 in UTG and the blinds Vinson and actionjack both call

they check down a 2-8-K-Q-3 board

Frujina flips J-7 suited and loses to actionjack A-5 suited

so the bubble bursts and now a rush of exits due from around 10 other shortstacks who have clung on

ten exits

ten players out in the fifteen minutes after the bubble burst

two of them Ryan Spittles who put his last 46,000 in with Q-10o and was called by Danny or Joe Laming with A-5 off which held

Skalie shoved J-10cc and Sree Vam called with A-9cc

8-7-3-10 had Skalie in front

Quote

i don’t want a jack now

said Skalie

Jack on the river

Turkish Delight

Mad Turk opens to 23,000 at 5-10k UTG

Ben Vinson all in 200,000 UTG+1

Turk thinks and then calls with A-Qdd

Vinson -9s

the flop comes A-K-5sss

so vinson still has outs

turn

river

Turk is a 900,000 chip leader with 40 left

next hand

actionjack opens to 22,000

shane duffy calls

Turk calls in the big blind

A-K-10 hh is checked round

8 turn, two spades now on the board

Turk leads for 55,000 gets two folds

shows 7-4 off

Rachel’s friends

Down to 33,000 Rachel Heneghan shoves Q-10hh

the cut off and button call and the big blind now shoves 118,000

the first caller folds and the second caller calls

Rachel has Q-10o v K-10o and 9-9

it comes K-J-x-9-x to quadruple her up

gets moved table and gets 14xbb in with AQ with Paul Jackson calling with AK

Spikes a Queen and is now up to 300,000
