I actually think I could knock out quite a few, basically because when I find a topic that interests me, I overdo it with the books and whatnot.

Reckon I could have a stab at:

The evils of communism
The Simpsons 1989-1998
How internet culture is making us all weaker and unhappier

To a lesser extent:

How men and women evolved to be so different yet complementary
The differences between British and American comedy

I could also knock out a presentation or two about the bestselling poker books The Mental Game of Poker 1 & 2, but bit of an unfair advantage there. Ditto the poker media which I have done presentations about.

What would the Simpsons one be about?

Presumably these talks aren't just information sharing presentations; more like thought-provoking ones?

Yeah actually the Simpsons one I'll retract, got lost in the moment and picked it based on thinking I could answer questions for Mastermind on it.

Think I'd discuss how the internet has changed the world so dramatically, in almost every way, especially, for example, politics, & the excessive power of Social Media such as Twitter & Facebook.

How the internet is policed would be included, given that for the most part the internet seems to work outside of the law, especially as to libel. At present, anyone seems to be able to say anything on the internet, which breaches many laws as we know them.

It changed the world, & did so very very quickly.

Has the internet really changed the political world?  I think it just makes left leaning voters complacent because it is an echo chamber?  If I read facebook I'd have wagered a lot on Miliband.  I think social media has changed nothing personally.
