My Mam's wanting to buy her partner a laptop, budget is £200. I've had a look around via Google for the best deals, didn't find much at this price range and going to buy this one unless anyone has any thoughts on better ? http://www.ebuyer.com/761661-acer-aspire-es-13-laptop-nx-ghnek-001Obv she's not expecting much for £200, it's just to store photos on and go online etc (he has a tablet). Any input welcome, cheers.

There is only 32Gb storage and that's including where the operating system resides. There isn't going to be much space for photos. Seems ok for the money though. I suppose this coupled with a Google Drive or Dropbox account would be ok though.

Probably needs more storage tbh. In all honesty unless it's specifically for xmas wait for the December clearance sales at John Lewis or similar. Can find some much better machines around that price which will have more storage and generally run a lot smoother, which will be in nearly-new condition.

For £200 you can buy a decent chromebook which will meet the requirements for most casual users. The only restriction is that you need to be in a wifi environment since it stores data in the cloud. The chrome OS takes away all of the complexity of windows and it is what I recommend to most casual users. More details on a chromebook can be found here: https://www.google.com/intl/en_uk/chromebook/?dclid=CLy807b769ACFVTcGwodUTkP3A
