Do you not think they are using their birthday as an excuse to not go to something which they don't want to go to?

I cannot believe there are many adults who treat the birthday with anything other than a shrug, a sigh and "another bloody year older"

I often see people posting their birthday plans on forums. I have seen people post on here that they wanted to play a tournament but it's their birthday. WTF.

I know loads of adults who treat their birthdays very much as they would when they were kids. Women mostly but not exclusively.

I also know an adult who gets 'Easter Presents' which I didn't even know was a thing.

Is the Easter presents person a devout Christian?

In my 20s, we just used it as an excuse to hit Butlins for the weekend or something, but never used to go out wearing badges or fancy dress Cheesy

People who go to watch darts and sing inane songs and barely watch any of the sport should be tagged, and a list of their names circulated to warn other members of society that they are in their midst.

Blonde has become a forum full of people who would argue over the colour of the sky.
95 % of the posts are someone's unpopular opinions, did we really need this one as encouragement?

Seemed like a good idea to me, a kind of arsehole containment thread....

Also people who go racing on Saturdays and spend the entire afternoon at the bar. And then cause trouble.

WTF is the point? Why don't they just save the £25 entrance money and go down the pub?

Going racing at weekends is horrendous, haven't been in 10 years or more.

That's nothing. I actually know someone who still gives Xmas presents & sends Xmas cards.

Beat that.
