Parent and child parking spots are way way more tilting imo in supermarkets.  I never think twice about parking in one of them but would never park in a disabled bay ever.

If you're that fucking disabled just flip up the laptop and get the groceries delivered instead. Much better than struggling to the shops and taking up half the car park with oversize spaces.

Agree with 'family spaces'...wtf is that? I had to park in one because it was crazy busy and no other spaces. Return to find a handwritten note on the windscreen saying 'thanks for taking my space do you want to take my disability too?' I was fuming for weeks. I mean what is your disability? Because it appears to be fucking blindness?

Talking of people taking the piss in disables spaces, at my old local Tesco express I moved away from not so long ago I regularly saw people with no badge using them. The vast majority of the time it was a black person, probably 80%+ of the time, but you can't say anything 'cus you are racist if you do innit......

Really didn't agree with Woodsey post. I mean when I went to Delhi I swear it was the Indians taking all the disabled bays!! But thought red dog was sexist about front line troops. If he ever saw my missus in a mood I think he'd change his tune.

Who is more handicapped than someone struggling with young children? (Well, disabled obviously, but apart from that). I'm not sure whether you have experienced it but, if you haven't, I can tell you that it is very difficult and parking close to the door is a huge help.

When I had two children less than two years old, there were no parent & child spaces and I used disabled spaces freely (though only if there were still plenty of other disabled spaces left). Later, Councils obviously came to agree with my view and introduced p&c spaces. In the same circumstances, I would do the same again.
