For anyone interested, another charity tournament in London is coming up Thursday 2nd March at The Ritz Casino, Piccadilly........

The Chips4Charity poker event was created with the hope of raising money for very deserving causes such as; The Irish Youth Foundation, Moorcroft Racehorse Welfare, Cancer Research UK and The Prince’s Charities. The 13th annual Poker Tournament will be held at The Ritz Casino on 2 March, 2017. From our first event, which raised £3,000 for charity, the event has grown considerably and to date has raised over half a million for charity. The event is very well attended, usually between 70-80 people and the Ritz is a fantastic venue for it. In recent years, the event also played host to a Cheltenham Preview which has proved very popular and thus we have moved the date closer to Cheltenham Festival for 2017. We are delighted to announce that Sir AP McCoy will be in attendance and will be giving us his thoughts on the main races at the Festival.

6:15pm Drinks reception, register and pay £500 buy in (includes food and drinks)

7:15pm Sit down and poker commences (Texas Hold’Em). There is a re-buy period of £250 for the first 90 minutes
8:45pm Dinner break
9:30pm Charity auction and Cheltenham Panel Preview
9:45pm Poker recommences– cash games will form after people start getting knocked out

VENUE: Ritz Club, Piccadilly
DRESS CODE: Smart casual or suit

These events are designed to raise money for charity and have an enjoyble fun night, so usually 50% of the pot goes to charity and shortish time levels means the tournament can be quite crap shooty. The cash action after is usually good  Smiley

if anyone is interested let me know and I will forward details, as your name needs to be on the guest list.
