"Rehman Kassam, a 23 year old law student from London, has won the £990 PokerStars Festival London Main Event for £89,320, after a deal three-handed with Daniel Harwood (£95,000) and Eric Cech (£70,000).
Kassam made the trip from his university town Nottingham by train just an hour after finishing an exam in order to play in a £120 live satellite, and, having won a seat, turned that small investment into the largest win of his poker career. He said his achievement has left him feeling “great – buzzing!” as his supportive rail gathered round him for his trophy photograph."
