Might be staying in Taunton for a few months. Is there much going on in terms of live poker?

The problem with poker in Somerset is that Somerset is known for apples, whereas if you're playing poker you want lots of pears.

I live in Taunton not much live poker going on, may be a couple of pubs run the odd tourney?

If you want something more serious then as Tighty has said Bristol is your best bet,

First sunday of the month 3pm start time,£50+7 one rebuy one top up,10k starting stack ,5k gtd (always beats it)
Fridays £20+5 unlimited rebuys, 5k starting stack , 1.5k gtd (last week 2.2k)
most sundays very lively 1-2 Omaha cash game
