chromebook for gambling

i have bought a chromebook to be used for matched betting and nothing else, still in box so can return if necessary.

i am not good with computer stuff, a friend said this would be ideal for betfair and bookmaker sites etc.

now somebody at work claims that many gambling sites will not run on it.

any advice from somebody who knows what the situation is would be much appreciated.

Have they explained why not?  I visit most sites with a browser and not using an app.  I have a pretty creaky old laptop and even that gets in most.

If your gambling sites support the Google Chrome browser it will be fine.

Also, Android apps can run on some of the Chromebooks which gives you another option to using a browser.  Do a google search using your model of Chromebook and android apps to see if you have this support.

I use Chrome browser for everything, never had a problem on any betting site
