2015 bone tomahawk

Saw the list ages ago and prompted me to download this one. Watched it today on a plane, not quite aware of the content!

Enjoyed it, but not really one for a random stranger to be watching alongside you Smiley

1982 The Thing caught my eye.

Absolutely love this film. Watched it many many times. Having  a memory like a goldfish meant that I got the same enjoyment trying to work out who was going to be "overtaken" next, each time I watched it.

Not sure I'd put it ahead of Blade Runner, though.

And, Jeeeeez, was The Departed made in 2006?

2016 train to busan

I was not prepared for how good this film was, had no expectations when my wife brought it home, may have been the most exciting film I've ever seen.

I can't get past 1975, the year I was born.

How am I supposed to choose between Jaws, One flew over the cuckoo's nest and Monty Python's Life of Brian?

You're correct on both counts, it has to be the winner. No idea why I wrote it down wrong.

Life of Brian is better than Holy Grail tho.  One Flew over the cuckoos nest is v good.  Not sure if Jaws has aged well, but also very good.

Would choose all 3.

I only saw Jaws in the last 6 or 7 years and it has aged well, the bit where everybody jumps made me jump as much as everyone else did back in the day (as I understand it).

Life of Brian is light years better than Grail, which is a superb film too. This scene is basically every political debate on Twitter these days:
