He's never won sports personality of the year despite his achievements. Why do you think this is?

I was thinking about this, but didn't they surface after he had already achieved a lot.

I would like it if either him or Froome won.  Both seem more deserving than the odds on Joshua.

I think the allegations are less than 2 years old. iirc in 2012 he was outside the top 3 despite being a double Olympic champion. Murray won Wimbledon, Jess ennis were top 2

Froome seems to get zero credit. Guess he'll have to win a fifth to win SPOTY.

Think drugs has little to do with it, its way more to do with him being viewed as an african beating africans. If he was white he would have won it surely.

Maybe he did just run bad with the opposition? Given Murray is injured, no Ennis and there aren't many athletics rivals, maybe this is his year?

Hate backing people in this market right after they have won, but he is 11.5.

Guess I was a bit slow, now 8/1.

When did Grosvenor Sportsbook start?  I hadn't heard of it before today.  Sunbets is probably doable for thread too.  I need to work harder given everybody else says no these days.

Effectively, their Sportsbook is B2B & run by Kambi, who also provide the Sportsbook for 888 & 32Red.

Gatlin's not alone. Doping is a global game. A selection of athletes on the 2017 world champs start lists who've been sanctioned

Why did Blake not get boo'd like Gatlin did last night?  Seemed very odd to me.

Being well informed has never been a speciality of the boo boys. Gatlin was punished for what he did, everyone should move on. I always find it incredible when people think another human should spend the rest of their lives being punished for wrongdoing. Religion doesn't have much going for it, forgiveness is ftw though.
