Bingham Banned for Betting

Maybe I'm being a bit naïve, but this does not look in any way sinister too me, & I've seen - or suspected - far worse in Snooker which has gone unpunished.

Having said that, I'm a bit biased, as I like the fella.

He says he didn't know he wasn't allowed to bet on snooker ? Really ? why bother betting on someone elses account , or get someone else to bet for you, after you already had your own accounts but stopped using them, bs imo

Seems harsh if there is no evidence he threw any matches.

But throwing matches is nothing to do with it, basically he isn't allowed to bet on snooker period.
