I made a Post about this a a couple of years ago, but can’t find it.

I’m looking to get a desk top for my office, it will be the 1st time having a dt since I was a kid.

The ones I was looking at were the all in ones, which seem sleeker and aesthetically better looking than the traditional hard back box and screen.

Are these just as good?

On previous thread It was mentioned about gett8ng your own built, which seems really complicated, and a leap into the unknown.

With Black Friday coming up feel I should be able to get a good deal. Any recommendations for a suitable desk top/ all in one pc would be greatly appreciated.

Can't really help re the questions. All in ones been around for long enough that I'd hazard that they were fine but I'd wait for someone who actually knows.

What do you mainly want to use it for? Rough price range?

Poker, word, excel. About 800-1000 to get something somewhat decent.

I used this firm last time https://www.cclonline.com/pc/

If a 21.5 inch screen is big enough for you, with that budget I would get a refurbished iMac:

I have had my iMac since Jan 2010 and it is still going strong, highly recommended.

You don't need to be spending that much for general poker, word and excel.

Are you playing a million tables, or running databases alongside it?

If not something like this would easily be good enough
