My old man is playing on Saturday afternoon.

I'm donating my £200 to the local pub on Saturday night.

Only 1/2 hour up road for me, if anyone wants to grab lunch or something, though.

I'll be playing then too! Probably late regging around 6 I think! That's the plan. Come play instead, much better place to lose £200, and no headache Sunday morning!

I honestly think my next poker will be in the summer. I've not had a drink since October, so would probably have a hangover if I came to play that tournament, and only had 2 pints Cheesy

Just as a matter of interest - is the LED screen still on the side of the BIC building.

The last time I went to Bournemouth, Ocean Palace was still open, and I don't remember seeing any screen at the BIC.

My old man  loves them, and plays them anytime they're on the south coast.

Came 12th in this one, and think there was about 10 lumps up top.

First ever casino i ever went in.  Was very classy back in those days.  Summer of 1996 and i was having a post graduation holiday with then gf and the Stakis casino was next to the Stakis (now Hilton) hotel.  Often wonder if i would ever have gone in a casino if i hadn't gone to Bournemouth that weekend!

They not got the GUKPT anymore?

He's chuffed, as it gives him a freeroll in the other two south coast ones later on.

I went in the little Stanleys down in the town centre, which is next to what was the Spearmint Rhino last time I was up that way.

Guy that owned the local chinese took me to what is now that Grosvenor on NYE 2016, too. I was only 16, but they just let me bowl in, and he won me about £200 playing roulette Cheesy

However, your point is still very valid Cheesy
