I was trying to figure out how old my laptop is. I can't find any paperwork and I can't remember when I bought it. The closest I can get is a photograph taken in 2009 with the lappy in the background, so somewhere around 9yo.

That seems like a good innings to me, anyone else still using one that's older?

My old Dell laptop must have been close to that age too.  It was still going strong, but it ran on XP, and not only was it no longer supported, but I couldn't use a fair few websites.

I was sad to see the back of it, but the new one is so much more practical and much lighter.

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

Yes mine ran on XP too. I blew it out and installed Visa.
