Probably the best ending all round. It's made a lot of press so the council have not come out in a great light and Lee's good deed as created another. Which shows there are normal people in the world.

People in the public sector apply something called the Daily Mail test to decision making these days. Essentially "What would the DM say if they knew all the facts in this spot". It is offensive that we feel they are well placed to hold us to account but it is true and does drive some policy.
