Your team took a he'll of a beating

I might have sobered up this time next year when obviously we get beat by 30+ points but who cares cause we are the champions

I was so pleased, it must be the greatest anomaly in all of sport, that team going 25/26, hopefully they'll be bashed by Ireland and France and lots of times in NZ. Farrell is so good at rugby, he really should give the Billy big Bollocks act a rest, he isn't good at that. Lots of love for Itoje and Jones, almost everyone else in the England set up seems like a prick.

I am no fan of the England rugby union team, but you aren't the champions, you are third.

Well played regardless.

England's back row were marmalised at the breakdown.  not a huge surprise i suppose with a 5 at 6 and 6 at 7 and Hughes at 8 (bullocking runner but no breakdown skills).

I thought Scotland might be overpowered but fair play, their tight five held up well

England were able to paper over the lack of a genuine 7 for a long time, but it came home to roost yesteray

there are only 2 teams in the Calcutta cup so it's hard to be 3rd though most years it looks like we are

I accept Scotland won the Calcutta Cup, but that makes you winners, but not champions?

Serious question, can a team be champions of a one match competition?  Nobody refers to the winners of the Charity Shield as the champions.  When Australia won the Ashes, nobody decleared the champions of the Ashes and they won 4 games and drew the other.

As I say no fan of England Rugby Union team, so quite enjoyed yesterday.

You win Ryder cup your the champions

but thats a two team event, this is a six team tournament

put correctly, you won a cup, not a championship

I love watching Scotland play anyway, proper flair.

but the Calcutta cup is a 2 team event just like the Ryder cup or the boat race
I am not saying we are winners of 6 nation just the champions of the Calcutta cup(for this season) just because it's a small part of a larger event does mean we are not champions of the smaller event

Not remotely a hardcore Rugby fan but I've always been Scottish as far as Rugby's concerned - great performance yesterday, made England look one dimensional

Flower of Scotland beforehand was awesome, happy fans to look at all match - great spectacle
