$10000 Main Event
After a massive pot where seat eight makes a correct call with one pair, seat one declares out loud "BAD BET, BAD CALL." The main event is never boring.
I've been fairly quiet. Raise 88 UTG, win it on Q63.

There is a raise to 1,500 from UTG2 and a button call, I call
from big.
Flop is
, checked round.
Turn is
. I check, UTG2 bets 2,200 into 5,700.
There won't be too many spots where I'm going to bluff with next to no equity, but this felt good enough that I had to go for it. I check raised to 6,600, in order to move in for 18,500 into 18,900 on the river.
One strong factor is that it felt like UTG2 would not trap the turn if he did have a flopped set or turned set or straight, so that I can bluff into a capped range on the river. And then we have the fact that he probably does bet the flop with all strong hands, and the small turn sizing.
I check raise to 6,600, he calls after a minute. I move in on
river, and he folds.

46,300. Really happy, would love to find a way back into this.
Raised KQ UTG, BB calls.
Flop Q43. He checks. I do decide to check behind. Fairly horrible for balance, but who needs balance in a tournament.
I get lucky as the board comes Q4343, and he does bet small on turn and bets pot with A2 to try to get me off a split on the river

Seat one has been raising big with strong hands, and limping alot.
He limps my 800BB, SB hesitates and calls. I make 4,800 and both fold

Raise folded a couple, 39k
The last one, I raise folded
from LoJack. A three bet, cold four and cold call from the one seat (by far the hero of the table) in front of me. Good Aussie player and one seat get it in on the flop for a massive one, with queens and kings respectively

Sigh, got one wrong.
I raise CO to 2k from 31,500 with AJo, button calls. Button is playing alot of hands, and passively. Aussie guy in small blind is obviously very good and very aggressive. He makes it 9,200 after looking at our stacks (button has me just covered).
I really want to do it, but obviously we have a big problem with the just over 2:1 that he'll be getting on his call. I fold. Probably put too much emphasis on wishing that I had 40k.
What actually happens is that the button launches a surprise by snap moivng in. Aussie snap folds. Pretty sure I would have got it through the button had I gone for it. Ouch ouch ouch ouch.

Got some for free from the deck.
Had
, decided not to fold them this time.
CO raises to 1,700, button three bets to 5,100, I have 26,300, and obviously would be strange to do anything but move in.
CO actually thinks for a while before calling, but button quickly folds.

Seat one wins a massive 150k pot from the nice guy in seat four, and his wild celebrations suddenly don't seem so bad when he starts shouting "you couldn't beat a straight , horrible call, HORRIBLE call."
I feel I have to say something gently about not commenting to a guy who has just lost a big pot, but I'm not sure it will make much difference to seat one's next pot. This table is definitely not boring.

Up to 41k. The dream is to get above the starting stack.
Interesting that if there were a testerone level anywhere close to seat one's, the events so far could have got a bit more ugly. But seat four could not have taken the shouting in his face after losing the massive pot any more calmly, and the rest of the table is similarly chilled.
Seat one drama will surely continue though, in the poker and the conversation sense, he has 250k

Morally justified, but you've already gone viral once and there's no guarantee the officials are any more likely to take your side.
Convenient visit to a floorman for a quiet word, who can have a quiet word with him/keep an eye on him?

I did get above the starting stack!
The player who will now forever be called seat one limps for 800, button raises to 2,500.
I have
. I very possibly should three bet. However, i think he's definitely good enough to know enough to put it all in often enough. I call.
Flop
. Checked to button, who bets small, 2,200. Definitely a possibility to raise if he's likely enough to float or raise, but I don't feel it's going to be clear enough to proceed.
Turn is
. That card is nice, but probably not significant. Check-check
River is
. Tough choice. I definitely could represent a float, but a float should be expected to be followed by a small river bet. I check. He almost definitely isn't going to bluff again, but we get to check raise a value bet. He bets 3,800. This now seems like value, as it's tough for that sizing to be a bluff, but he folds so quickly when I make it 18,500, that I think it must have been a bluff.

UTG raises to 2k from about the same 50k stack as I have with
. I make it 4,600. To be honest, he's been steady enough that there are ways I may be folding it pre.
He calls, we see a flop of
. He snap bets 7k.
There is a definitely a factor that AK may well 4bet pre (albeit very possibly not), AQ is half blocked and AJ will probably trap. However, there just aren't enough hands that raise UTG that miss, especially given I also block KQ. I fold.
