Day 3 of a WSOP 10k DC event?

Hard to top that.

Do try, though.

Fantastic stuff.

FYI Stu Alexy Makarov is LuckyGump from the old pokerstars days, Marco Johnson a high stakes mixed game cash game guy, I think he's generally considered one of the best players around in those games, pretty sure he used to stake JRB in the Ivey room games for a while...

Gl Stu!

Enjoying the updates thoroughly, all the best for today.

Your thread is a breath of fresh air on a poker forum. Detailed, concise and engaging.

I read your post about having the 7th nuts in a game and something about Patting, I don't have a clue about the particular game but still found it fascinating.

Al the best sir for the remainder of vegas, you have had a good start here's to a great Vegas trip!

In draw games, you get to choose how many cards you want to change. If you don't want to change any, you can "stand pat", which you can either do because you're happy with your hand or because you want your opponents to think you're happy with your hand.

$10,000 Dealer's choice

Thanks so much guys. The messages really do make a difference.

Yesterday was intense. With 13 players and two and a half hours remaining, I predicted 9 or 10 would return. I was wrong; everybody did. Four handed in quick paced, changing games against three great players, I was determined to make no mistakes, but it felt that that was enough only to achieve parity. If there's one thing you don't want to happen in those circumstances in the desert, it's probably for the air conditioning to break.

But, if that's not the kind of day all of this is for, nothing is.

I'm 10/13. Hopefully another exhausting day is coming.

$10,000 Dealer's choice

Not quite sure what I'll be able to do in terms of updates today, so may just keep chip counts coming.
