 Cheesy Cheesy

The internet is reporting one level penalty, but it was two rounds (with a table break thrown in too!)

We're discussing at the table that what needs to happen now is that I approach him and ask him to be my team mate for the Tag Team. Maybe it will be the start of a great friendship

$10000 razz

I have 345, board is 4-4-6-9-K-K-K. The 4 completes, I raise to 1,600, and I bet every street on 3456347 Vs (xx)4487(x), which mucks

$10000 razz

I have A45, an 8 limps, I raise, Adam Owen two bets an A. 8 calls, I three bet, Owen four bets a (xx)4. The 8 now folds, I decide to just call.

(Significant dead cards are 8,5,5)

I catch A45T5T til 6th and he makes xx4J82. Given he four bet pre, he will not have paired the 8, but may well have paired the 2.

I make the Ten on the river, A45T5T6. He bets. Which is terrible news. But given the likelihood of him pairing his 2, I decide to call. And he has indeed bluffed a Jack

$10000 razz

I raise (96)5 on a picture heavy board, Bart Hanson defends his (xx)K bring in. The boards come my (96)5T48(7) Vs his (xx)K633. By his calls, he absolutely cannot have paired his 6 or 3.

I check the river. This is absolutely standard razz spot, where he just will either have got there or not. So, completely standard for me to check, and then I decide...

I actually decide to fold. I played with him for a few hours in the mixed O8, and he was very very steady. Despite the big pot odds I am getting, most players will just give up if they miss, as it looks so much like I'm going to call. Obviously it gives me a slight meta image problem, but that can work both ways round, they'll expect me to call next time

$10000 razz

Ouch, rough times. I lose 76542 Vs Hildebrand's 7654A, and two hands later I lose 65432 to Gregorich's 6543A.

Ouch, ouch. Rare to get pipped by one in this game, so for it to happen twice is not nice.

$10000 razz

Down to 16,500. Hildebrand limps a 2, I complete (A2)3, but brick to (A2)3KQ and fold 5th

$10000 razz

Down to 7,600. Losing every hand. I have (A3)5 Vs Owen, with two fives and two threes dead. Awesome spot. But I pair the 5 on 4th, and run out (A3)557K(A), and am no good Vs Owen's 8643A

Hmm, this is a shame

$10000 razz

6,100 unfortunately. It looks like I may be winning a grand total of one hand. Still, double up would be really nice.

$10000 razz

Well that went downhill very quickly. Don't think I change a single decision.

Down to 4,900, I had (25)6, Bronstein completed a 4, I raised to 2,400.

I caught (25)63 for a lovely 4th Street, and we got it in. He had (A4)78, and made an 8754A on 5th. I caught the not enough (25)63KQ9

Well, tomorrow looks like a day off. Next up is $10000 PLO8 on Friday.

Enjoy the day off, and good luck Friday!
