Our squads are almost identical. I usually spend way too much time pre season on my initial squad looking for differentials and some punts and invariably start off badly. This season I hardly did any work and decided to go no risk vanilla and have my best start by a country mile. |

LAST MAN STANDING: Starts GW9
THE CUPS
We have 27 players currently, entry is open until Saturday 15th September at 12.30 BST. One more entry would be really helpful, especially when it comes to the Champions League. Please see the schedule for the cups below, we're pioneers here so the FPL Cups will be taking a winter break for the first time, GW18-21 there will be no cup games.
The average score will be making up the numbers in the Round of 32.
We're following the format of the League Cup/FA Cup/Champions League as much as possible.
We're scheduled to start with the League Cup in GW6.
The League Cup will be H2H knockout and there will be 6 GWs play. The semifinals will be 2 leg affairs.
If we get a tie, the League Cup does not have replays so we'll go to a 'penalty shootout' tie-break. The tie-break will be the same as the in game FPL Cup tiebreak.
If a cup match is drawn, then the following tie-breaks will be applied until a winner is found:
1.Most goals scored in the Gameweek
2.Fewest goals conceded in the Gameweek
3.Virtual coin toss
League Cup
GW6 = last 27-32
GW7 = last 16.
GW8 = last 8.
GW9/10 = semifinals
GW11 = League Cup final.

The FA Cup is scheduled to start GW13.
It'll be played along the same principles, H2H knockout. There will be only 5GWs play as there are no 2 leg matches.

FA Cup
GW13 = last 27-32
GW14 = last 16
GW15 = last 8
GW16 = semifinals
GW17 = FA Cup final.

Champions League is scheduled to start GW22
In the event of having 27 runners then in the CL we'll run with seven groups of four. 27 teams + 1x Average. The top two from each group will qualify along with the two best 3rd place teams.
All teams will play 2 round robin matches against each other for a total of 6 matches. Teams will receive 3pts for a win, 1pt for a draw. Teams will be seeded according to their positions in the league at the time of the draw.
The top 7 in the league will all be 1st seeds, teams positioned 8th-14th will be 2nd seeds, teams positioned 15th-21st will be 3rd seeds and teams positioned 22nd+ will be 4th seeds.
Champions League
GW22-GW27 = group matches
GW28/GW29 = last 16
GW30/GW31 = last 8
GW32/GW33 = semi finals
GW34 = Champions League final.
