Kalashnikov & Glen Forsa exactly the reason why they should be allowed to stay entered for 2 races.

Trigg's got the lot - let's hope he manages to corner Rich Ricci now and that someone's videoing it.

Bit of karma for RRicci there although it probably saved him the interview.

He's got that anyway.

No wonder they sent Alice to do it. No way Chapman would have mentioned it to his 'mate'.

I was so busy anti-funking Benie Des Dieux that I genuinely didn't realise Roksana had won.

Trip report:

Two firsts and three seconds made for a profitable day.

Neil's preview dinner on Saturday has paid for itself; I noted both Melon and Thomas Derby from that.   Think Lydia Hislop was keen on that, but I may be over-crediting her and it could have been someone else.

So many snowflakes around (young and old) refusing to stand outside in the rain, so we could get right near the finishing line from Tatts.

Tatts was a lot roomier than I expected, by contrast there seemed to be less space in club.

There is a jockey club app where you can download your tickets; that may seem a great idea, but mobile signal wasn't that great with O2, hence much cursing and fun times at the gate.

Getting in and out in a car is still pretty shit at the festival.

Overall was a much more enjoyable day than I remembered.

Sounds like a good day, even with the shitty weather.

Good days punting, too. Congrats!

Thanks David, good write-up that.

Well done to B-E too, cracking day yesterday, with winners at 6/1, 10/1 & 14/1. Couple more days like that & subscribers will win more than Marky.

Hello punters What's better in the Coral Cup?

5 places 1/4 odds - 33/1
6 places 1/5 odds 29/1
7 places 1/5 odds 26/1

I would say that you have them in the correct order but hopefully Doobs will be along to give a definitive opinion.

I would take the top one.  Second one looks significantly worse than the top one; the price and place terms are worse.   Third one is better than the second, but fifth first 7 is only marginally better than quarter first 5, and you are getting a much worse price.
